The Reliance Fish Restaurant's History

There has been a fish and chips takeaway and restaurant at this location for over 90 years now. It even continued serving fish and chips throughout the Second World War.
The current owners, Jack and Helen Kamenou, have been running the fish restaurant for 24 years, following Jack's grandparents and parents. Jack swears by Henry Jones Gold Batter Mix to get his fish crispy and with a lovely golden colour.
Jack's customers come from all over Kent. His Reliance Fish Restaurant has been a regional finalist in the Seafish Fish & Chip Shop of the Year Award. "Come and enjoy our fish." (Jack)
